Mena Darre' on Her Journey to Full-time Entrepreneurship
On episode 26, I’m talking with Mena Darre, she is a full time entrepreneur, she owns a photography company and is the founder of an enrichment program for teens. She has a bachelor's in Exercise Science, Masters in Teaching Health Education, and a Doctorate in following her passion.
June 2nd, 2017 Mena stepped out on faith and quit her teaching job to pursue Mena Darré Photo & Video full time. Mena Darré specializes in professional branding, events, and weddings. Throughout her journey Mena has had the opportunity to capture high profile people such as Kim Coles, Regina Hall, Terrence J, and St. Louis’s very own Nelly and Wesley Bell. Mena’s work has been seen in Black Enterprise, the Huffington Post, Delux Magazine, and Writer’s Life Magazine.
When Mena is not behind the camera you can find her in the classroom. Mena is the founder of The Creatives Of Tomorrow which is an organization that provides enrichment programs that expose, educate, and inspire teens to explore entrepreneurship and photography. Mena has worked with over 100 students in the St. Louis area and plans to impact many more.
